Family passionate about coffee
WHO WE ARE
We are a family passionate about coffee, dedicated to roasting it with artisanal and sustainable attention. We use natural fuels to roast our coffees, such as Montsec wood, sourced from forest cleaning, and almond shells from Les Garrigues, a combination that provides a unique aroma and authentic essence to our coffees.
Our love for coffee and its culture leads us to personally select the best beans, traveling to coffee farms to meet producers and plantations firsthand, to choose the highest quality coffees. We value the careful work of the farms, and the result is reflected in every cup we offer.
We believe in the simplicity and freshness of the traditional product. That is why we roast our coffees weekly in small quantities or microlots, ensuring that you always receive fresh and seasonal coffee. Each bean is roasted with care and dedication in our artisanal roaster, so you can enjoy an authentic and unforgettable coffee experience.

What we offer
QUALITY PRODUCT
Our coffee stands out for being fresh and seasonal, a quality product roasted with care and attention. We roast our coffees every week to offer freshly roasted coffee that keeps the taste, aromas, and properties completely alive. We take the necessary time to ensure that each bean is roasted to perfection.
We work with specialty coffees directly from coffee farms, personally knowing and visiting their teams to understand firsthand the qualities and particularities of each coffee we incorporate. With this artisanal approach and a touch of barista innovation, we achieve a final product of high quality.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
In addition to selling our coffee to restaurants, cafes, offices, and end customers, delivered personally through our team, we also offer training and advice on coffee preparation to professionals (see professionals tab). This way, our clients can access and enjoy guidance on current barista trends and new coffee working techniques.
We handle our own distribution, delivering our coffees firsthand quickly and safely, prioritizing the good preservation and freshness of our products. We work daily towards greater sustainability in this process, both in the type and materials of our packaging.
To offer a comprehensive and complete service to our clients, we have a wide range of professional machinery (coffee machines, grinders, etc.) accompanied by our own technical service for coffee. This guarantees safety, comfort, and peace of mind, allowing all these services to be provided by a single supplier. This comprehensive solution provides a worry-free experience and saves numerous technical management tasks in the day-to-day operations of a professional project.

values
Our coffee is not just a product; it is an experience. We believe in fresh, seasonal coffee and in quality products. This means we select the best coffee beans based on the seasons and work directly with producers committed to good work. Our values are based on product quality and honesty in every step of the process.
For us, coffee is more than a drink: it is a way to connect with people and with professionals in the hospitality sector. For this reason, one-on-one contact with the client is a fundamental part of our philosophy. We enjoy getting to know people, listening to their stories, and sharing our passion for coffee.
We believe that coffee can be a driver of positive change, and that is why we work with local communities in the area and with professionals committed to working with the utmost care.
This is our project: to create coffee with soul and commitment, and we would love to share it with you.

where we come from
Our base is in the heart of the old town of Balaguer, in the middle of La Noguera, a place where the art of coffee has been passed down from generation to generation. These were difficult times of post-war, after the Spanish Civil War and just after the Second World War. Coffee was controlled by the State, and there was no free distribution and roasting of it.
Our grandfather, Modesto, started roasting coffee in 1952, in the attic of his house, with a manual ball roaster and wood fire. He roasted at night because the pleasant smell of coffee would take over the streets, and in those times, a certain secrecy was needed, but it was rarely achieved, because the next day the neighborhood would already be saying “Delsams has roasted again!”
That small space, full of aromas and conversations, became a meeting place for coffee lovers and neighborhood residents. The rapidly growing demand turned that passion into a profession in no time. Since then, we have kept this artisanal spirit alive, with a close and personal approach that defines who we are today.
